From 28 September, if NHS Test and Trace tell you to self-isolate, you might be entitled to a one-off £500 payment. You must have tested positive for coronavirus or been in close contact with someone else who has. You must also:
- be employed or self-employed
- be unable to work from home, as a result of which you will lose income
- be currently receiving one of the following: Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, income-based Employment and Support Allowance, income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income Support, Housing Benefit or Pension Credit
If you do not receive the above welfare benefits, we can give you a discretionary payment of £500 if you receive Council Tax Reduction, or you are excluded from any of the above welfare benefits because you have no recourse to public funds. Please contact selfisolationpayments@cambridge.gov.uk, if you think you may be eligible.Find out more about the Test and Trace Support Payment
