A total of 387 fixed penalty notices for Covid breaches have been handed out in Cambridgeshire from March 27, 2020, to January 17, 2021, representing at least one fine each day.

Official figures suggest the force has cracked down on lockdown rulebreakers, with a third of the fines being issued in the last two months.

Cambridgeshire Police has issued three of the most severe £10,000 penalties for organisers of house parties.

A further 22 fines were given to those refusing to wear face coverings and one fine was dished out for a breach of business regulations.
